Below, our team at Oklahoma City VW has put together a sneak peek at what to expect from the newest entry in the VW Jetta family.

The Trims They Are a-Changing

The new 2023 VW Jetta will be available in four trims: the S, the Sport, the SE, and the SEL. New this year is the Sport trim, which replaces last year's R-Line trim. Standard on this new trim is the XDS® electronic differential lock, dark graphite 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, a blacked-out grille, and unique cloth sport seats.

Overall, the 2023 VW Jetta will maintain its sleek, sophisticated look with a few tweaks. This includes new front and rear bumpers, featuring a new grille up front as well as unique new wheels available on each trim.

There will also be new available colors, including Kings Red Metallic, Oryx White Metallic, and Rising Blue Metallic. LED headlights and daytime running lights will also be standard on all base models with available projector LEDs on higher trim models.

Performance

One of the biggest upgrades to the 2023 VW Jetta is under the hood with the 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This potent engine will provide 158 horsepower (up from the previous year's 145 horsepower) and 184 lb-ft of torque. You'll also have a choice between an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission.

Interior

The 2023 Volkswagen Jetta will have a few upgrades in the cabin as well. The Volkswagen Digital Cockpit instrument cluster now comes standard with an 8-inch display in the VW Jetta. This will let you easily track fuel economy, speed, driving range, and navigation as well as other information.

For comfort, new rhombus cloth seats come standard along with contrast stitching throughout the cockpit. Also available are leatherette and leather seats with a new Volcano Brown and black two-tone palette color options. Heated and ventilated front and rear seats are also available to maximize your comfort.

The comfort doesn't stop with the seating, though. A leatherette-wrapped steering wheel is available with heating options to keep your hands toasty. To cap it off, the Climatronic® automatic climate control system will help keep the cabin nice and cozy for you and your passengers.

Technology

Standard on the VW Jetta will be Volkswagen Car-Net®. This allows you to stay connected with your VW Jetta through your smartphone and provides in-car Wi-Fi® capability. Also available is the MIB3 infotainment system. This suite offers wireless charging and wireless App-Connect so your devices can stay charged and you remain in the loop while you drive.

Safety

The Volkswagen Jetta will come standard with helpful driver assistance technology to keep you driving confidently. This includes:
